Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS the sitcom Mom. Calvano was born in California and first became fascinated by gymnastics. She later chose to become an actress. She made her screen debut in 2010 on an episode of the CBS show 'NCIS'. Her big screen debut came within a year in the biographical drama film "J Edgar". Through the years, she's proven herself as one of the most promising actors in the industry. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series featuring a Guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. She was also nominated in 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest in the comedy series of Disney XD "Kickin' it". Calvano was part of the cast of Mom throughout its first three years and appeared on several occasions in the fourth. The year 2015 was the year she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her appearance in Mom.
